Privacy policy
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and no advertising trackers, and builds no profile of you. The only personal data it handles is what you type into the enquiry form.
Who is responsible
Jean-Luc Benazet Photography, based in South Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, is the data controller for this site. You can reach me at jeanluc.benazet@gmail.com or on +44 (0) 7811 512422.
What the enquiry form collects
Your name, email address, phone number if you choose to give one, and whatever you write in the message. That is submitted to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards it to my email inbox. Web3Forms acts as a processor on my behalf and does not use the content for anything else.
I use that information to answer your enquiry, to quote for the work, and to carry out the booking if you go ahead. I do not add enquirers to a mailing list and I do not sell, rent or share the data with anybody else.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not turn into a booking are deleted within twelve months. Where a booking goes ahead, the correspondence and invoice records are kept for six years, which is what UK tax rules require.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and includes no analytics or advertising scripts. Your browser will make requests to load fonts and images from this domain, and my host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.
Photographs on this site
Every photograph here was taken by me on commissioned work and is published with the client's agreement. If you appear in one and would like it removed, email me and I will take it down. I do not need a reason.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jeanluc.benazet@gmail.com and I will respond within a month. If you are not satisfied with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
